General Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our non profit organisation, based in Benoni.
The successful candidate will ensure the effective delivery of quality palliative healthcare services throughout the East Rand region and will oversee  operations, marketing, finances and staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
·     Provide strategic leadership and manage daily operations
·     Oversee financial planning, budgeting and reporting with primary responsibility for the short and medium term financial sustainability of the organisation
·     Human Resource management including recruitment, training and performance management
·     Ensure legislative and regulatory compliance, including  healthcare and nonprofit regulations
·     Lead, motivate and develop staff and volunteers
·     Build strong relationships with donors, partners, health professionals, medical aid funds and the community, as well as other stakeholders including government departments
·     Support and develop fundraising, handle grant and sponsorship applications
·     Report to and work closely with the Executive Committee
QUALIFICATIONS
·     Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration or related field
·      A qualification and/or extensive applicable experience in Human Resource management
·     Proven senior management experience in healthcare or nonprofit sector
·     Strong financial management and strategic planning skills
·     Excellent leadership, communication and organizational abilities
·     Knowledge of healthcare regulations and nonprofit governance
