The familiar charity shop in Rynfield that many have come to know and love has had a fresh facelift and we’re still very much open.
With our recent name change from Hospice East Rand to East Rand Palliative Care, we’ve updated the exterior signage at our Rynfield Charity Shop to reflect this new chapter. While the sign may be different, our commitment to the community remains the same.
Located at 17D Waterson Street, the Rynfield Charity Shop has long played an important role in supporting the work we do across the East Rand. Every donation, every purchase, and every kind word shared about our work helps us provide palliative care to those who need it most and none of that has changed.
“It’s still the same shop, still the same cause, and still the same community we’re here to serve,” says Blaine Groenewald, Charity Shop Co-Ordinator for East Rand Palliative Care. “The new signage is just a reflection of the journey we’ve been on; but everything that matters inside remains unchanged.”
We want to reassure our community that although the name on the building is new, the heart of the shop is still the same. You’ll still find quality items at affordable prices, a warm welcome from our dedicated volunteers, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
